Yakumo's Sealed Power

Under the cover of night, Naruto creeps onto the grounds of Yakumo's mansion and drifts into an unsettling vision. In it, Kurenai warns that she will lock away Yakumo's talents by force. Waking with that image fresh in his mind, Naruto pieces together that this confrontation is what drove Kurenai to abandon her former pupil, though the jōnin herself stays tight-lipped and shares nothing further when pressed.

Naruto's nighttime infiltration hands him the first real clue about the rift between teacher and student. The dream sequence reframes Kurenai's decision to leave the team as a matter of sealing dangerous ability rather than simple estrangement. When Kurenai sets out to meet Yakumo in person, a group of Kurama clan shinobi ambush the pair, turning the quiet investigation into an open fight.

The installment sits within the Yakumo Kurama Rescue Mission, an anime-original stretch of the series.
