Team Ganryu is a Mist Village squad from a decade before the Allied Shinobi Forces, remembered for a betrayed retrieval mission that sparked the Tragedy of Yosuga Pass and lit a lasting feud with the Stone Village.
Led by Ganryu, this Kirigakure unit operated roughly ten years ahead of the founding of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Working with backing from Iwagakure, the squad set out to recover an important document that Kumogakure had seized from the Mist.
The mission turned disastrous once the papers were in hand. The Stone shinobi who had been assisting them turned on the Mist team, cutting down Junsai and Suiren, the latter of whom threw herself into harm's way to shield Ganryu. This bloody double-cross came to be remembered as the Tragedy of Yosuga Pass, and it ignited open hostility between the two nations. A distinctive marker of the group was its gear, a modified flak jacket cut like the Stone Village's own but dyed slate grey, worn with a jade-green band around the right forearm.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Ganryu heads the team and outlives the massacre that claimed his comrades. In the years that follow, he draws together a small band of fellow Kiri shinobi who share his bitterness toward the Stone, and together they strike at Iwagakure ninja wherever the chance arises.
