An Immortal Army!!

Reflecting on the report Kisame once delivered, Tobi notes that Naruto's knack for reading negative emotions mirrors an ability Mito Uzumaki once had, then sets off alongside his newly assembled Six Paths of Pain. Over at the Logistical Support and Medical Division, Shizune and Sakura finish dissecting one of the White Zetsu clones and discover that each was grown from the cells of the First Hokage, which is why they all wield Wood Release. Shikaku passes word of the enemy's plan to Naruto and B. Moments later the pair are ambushed by White Zetsu impersonating allied fighters, but Naruto sees through the disguise at once and strikes them down. With that threat cleared, he splits into a wave of shadow clones and sends them racing toward every battlefield simultaneously.

Tobi compares Naruto's sensory gift to Mito Uzumaki's and deploys his reconstituted Six Paths of Pain. Shizune and Sakura's autopsy proves the White Zetsu clones were made from First Hokage cells and share his Wood Release. Naruto exposes and destroys Zetsu clones posing as alliance shinobi, then disperses shadow clones to reinforce the entire war effort.
