Madara's Strategy!!

Inside a field tent, Sakura quietly wrestles with her unresolved feelings toward Sasuke after a brief exchange with an Iwagakure fighter. A figure who appears to be Neji slips in and unnerves her. Far off near a shrine, Itachi and Nagato talk over the plan Tobi has set in motion, while the genuine Neji remains out on the front, grumbling to Kiba that he refuses to report to the medical camp. Kiba scolds him, pointing out that dying from exhaustion will impress no one and that Neji cannot even tell him apart from Akamaru.

The impostor's questions give him away. When he refers to Tonton, the pig Shizune is treating, as though the animal were a person, Sakura grows wary. He feigns lingering pain in his arm and asks her to examine it, secretly closing his hand around a kunai, but she drives him into the earth before the blade can land. The false Neji collapses back into a White Zetsu clone, and by recalling Yamato's earlier account, Sakura works out how the copy mirrored Neji so exactly. She relays the discovery to command.

Elsewhere the White Zetsu press on with their nighttime killings. At headquarters, Inoichi and Ao funnel incoming intelligence to Shikaku, who searches for a workable countermeasure. On watch, Hinata and Shino rely on the Byakugan and swarming insects, with Hinata insisting they endure the war to keep Naruto safe. As Naruto and Killer B race toward the fighting, the Fourth Raikage and Tsunade move to cut them off.
