Tailed Beasts vs. Madara…!!

As the tailed beasts commit to taking on Madara directly, the Allied Shinobi Forces pull back to avoid being caught in the crossfire. Gaara and Shukaku open with their Wind Release: Sand Buckshot, and Madara, dismissing the technique as clever but toothless, is caught off guard when Gaara pins him using sand that lingered inside his body. The beasts each land a hit, buying the sand-wielding pair the moment they need to bring out the Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal to lock Madara away. He escapes with his Susanoo just before the sealing finishes.

When the Uchiha starts to gloat, Naruto and Kurama answer with a punishing tail-whip that batters him, tears off his right arm, and drives him into retreat. In that same instant, a White Zetsu Army clone rises from the earth to report that its assignment is done. Madara severs the unflinching Zetsu's right arm to replace his own, and as he reveals a restored right Rinnegan, he remarks that even one eye returned would let him enjoy himself.

Gaara and Shukaku immobilize Madara with residual sand and attempt to seal him, but he escapes via Susanoo. Naruto and Kurama's counterattack removes Madara's right arm, and a White Zetsu clone provides a replacement arm bearing a Rinnegan, restoring one of his eyes.
