Chapter 504 closes the flashback to the night the Nine-Tails was sealed, giving Kushina and Minato their final moments with the infant Naruto and letting a grown Naruto answer his mother across time with gratitude rather than grief.
Kushina pushes back against Minato's choice to invoke the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, unwilling to accept that he would trade his own life just so she might spend a handful of minutes with a much older Naruto. Minato holds firm, telling her that nothing he could ever do would take the place of a mother. The reaper deity seizes the fox but locks away only half of its chakra. Minato then calls forth Gerotora and entrusts him with the key to the seal meant for the baby.
Before the sealing, Kushina pours out a long stream of advice for the son she will never raise, and Minato completes the Eight Trigrams technique on the newborn. The scene shifts back to the present, where Kushina apologises for her absence. Naruto admits he grew up never knowing a parent's love yet came through it fine, and he thanks the pair simply for bringing him into the world, saying he carries the love of them both within him. Kushina slips away thanking her son in turn, grateful to have been his mother and grateful that he was ever born.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
