Summary
Keeping watch over the still-senseless Sasuke and Naruto, Sakura hears movement nearby and whirls around braced for an attacker, only to find a squirrel. Rather than relax, she deliberately frightens the creature off so it will steer clear of the traps she has laid for any real intruder. Moments later, Rock Lee comes upon the same squirrel and peels an explosive tag from its back, sparing it from being used as a weapon.

She presses them on why Orochimaru branded Sasuke with a cursed seal, but they offer no answer, genuinely startled to hear of their master's actions. They then attack, slipping past the traps that Sakura had unwittingly exposed when she scared away their squirrel-bomb, and she is saved by Lee's arrival.
