Summary
The black flames of Amaterasu swallow Sasuke's ordinary fireballs and spread across the battlefield. Sasuke's efforts to flee fail, and the blaze catches him as well. As what appears to be his charred body crumbles to ash, Itachi reaches toward the eyes he covets, only to find he has destroyed a stand-in, his brother having slipped free using a technique inherited from Orochimaru.
