Chapter 679 marks the terrifying rebirth of the ancestor of all chakra. As the Infinite Tsukuyomi drains the world of its energy, that power pours into Madara, only to be seized by a far older presence that steps out of legend and onto the battlefield.
Madara's agonized cry coincides with the sudden vanishing of his invisible shadows, which Naruto and Sasuke both notice. In the next moment, enormous streams of chakra erupt from the earth and rush toward him. Sasuke reasons that the surge is being drawn from every soul now trapped by the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and its scale dwarfs even the Ten-Tails. The two race to stop Madara from swallowing it, but strands of the chakra snare them before they can reach him. Black Zetsu counters Naruto's fear, explaining that Kaguya once wielded the same jutsu without taking lives, instead using it to slowly transform its victims into the White Zetsu Army.
Madara's body swells from the flood of absorbed energy, and Black Zetsu abandons him by transferring itself into that form. Obito crumples to the ground as Kakashi looks on in alarm. When the chakra finally quiets, Kaguya Otsutsuki stands fully restored. Sensing the two young shinobi, she hurls them to the earth, and Sakura's attempt to intervene halts when the ancestor strides past her without notice. Studying them with her Byakugan, Kaguya identifies their chakra not as her sons' but as Indra's and Asura's, and grasps who bestowed those powers.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Mourning what he believes is Obito's death, Kakashi demands to know Kaguya's intentions, and she replies only that she will permit no further harm to her so-called nursery before whisking everyone into a separate realm awash with lava. The chapter falls within the Kaguya Otsutsuki Strikes arc in the seventieth volume, and Viz renders the title as She of the Beginning. The color spread that opened its magazine run was left out of the collected edition.
In The Incipient, chapter 679, Madara absorbs an overwhelming surge of chakra pulled from every person trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, a scale surpassing even the Ten Tails. His body swells until Black Zetsu abandons him and the built up chakra gives way to Kaguya Otsutsuki's full return.
The chapter ends with Kaguya Otsutsuki, the ancestor of all chakra, standing fully restored after absorbing the massive flow of energy. She immediately senses Naruto and Sasuke and hurls them to the ground.
Naruto and Sasuke race to stop Madara from completing the chakra absorption, but strands of the surging chakra snare them before they can reach him, leaving them unable to intervene.
Black Zetsu tells Naruto that Kaguya once used the same jutsu without killing anyone, instead using it to gradually transform its victims into the White Zetsu Army.
Obito collapses to the ground once Kaguya emerges, appearing dead to Kakashi, who watches in alarm and later demands to know Kaguya's intentions.
