Itachi completes the seal on Nagato, much to Kabuto's frustration; the puppeteer had counted on Nagato's expanded vision to make up for his lost mobility, yet Itachi found and exploited the blind spots. As Kabuto weighs unleashing his ace, Itachi announces a plan to shut down the Impure World Reincarnation himself.

Naruto insists on carrying the fight alone and tries to spawn more shadow clones, but the long stretch in his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode starts to wear on him. Itachi warns him that raw strength counts for nothing if he forgets the people who lifted him up, adding that going it alone breeds failure, a truth he learned the hard way. Killer B chimes in, recalling the promise he made to Iruka to keep Naruto safe.

Before departing, Itachi burns away his crow and the Shisui Sharingan hidden within it, knowing another decade must pass before that power can serve again.

Across the wider war, the Allied forces struggle against the Second Mizukage's Giant Clam and its mirages. Temari slices through the Third Raikage to cue the Sealing Team, while Gaara senses the invisible Mu lurking behind a back-strained Onoki and spots a Rasengan appearing right behind their enemy.
