Two Suns!!

While Shikaku keeps hunting for a way to counter the White Zetsu at Allied headquarters, the Raikage marvels that his own harsh words pushed B to surpass him. B explains that a jinchuriki risks growing hollow and losing hope, yet anyone with something worth fighting for can master the beast inside and hold onto their humanity. He calls those reasons suns, naming A as his own, and points out that Naruto carries two: his mother and his father.

Naruto then recounts to Tsunade and the Raikage how he met his parents and how they trusted him to overcome the Nine-Tails, also mentioning the masked man that A suspects is Tobi.

Tsunade admires Minato's foresight in judging Tobi a grave threat and sealing the Nine-Tails within Naruto, while the Raikage wonders whether the so-called Saviour of this World placed his entire burden on his son. Naruto then dodges the Raikage's fastest punch, becoming only the second person ever to do so, and A lets him pass toward the battlefield. Back at headquarters, Shikaku settles on using Naruto's ability to sense malice in Nine-Tails Mode to root out the disguised White Zetsu.

Naruto insists his father never saw himself as a savior, crediting that title instead to Jiraiya, and vows to fulfill the faith his parents placed in him. As dawn breaks, Tobi assembles a new Six Paths of Pain from reincarnated jinchuriki, each bearing both the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.
