Summary

Madara cannot understand why Guy's chakra refuses to fade and wonders what Naruto has done. When Naruto lunges, the Uchiha barely reshapes a staff from his last Truth-Seeking Ball to parry the punch, then decides that the young man's strength has genuinely risen rather than blaming his own unfinished regeneration. Borrowing chakra from Son Gokū, Naruto forms a senjutsu-fed, lava-laced Rasenshuriken. Madara dodges its expansion and answers with Limbo: Border Jail, but the counter fails, and both he and the Ten-Tails' tree body are swept up in the blast.

Seemingly beaten beneath the toppling tree, Madara hears a voice from within it urging him to absorb the thing. Naruto uses the lull to pull Guy back, entrusting him to Gaara and Lee with a promise that his teacher will live, and agreeing that once he becomes Hokage he and Gaara will stand as allies before returning to the fight. Watching from afar, Kakashi looks on as Sakura, in the other dimension, thanks Obito for saving Naruto against her own instincts, prompting him to ask something of her. Elsewhere Sasuke frees Tobirama and learns the reborn shinobi can now teleport only a single person, so Sasuke chooses to travel without his teammates. Having consumed the God Tree, Madara recovers and boasts of his immortality. Naruto scoops up one of his father's special kunai and, entering a new state armed with his own Truth-Seeking Balls, declares he will not fight alone just as Sasuke appears beside him, his eyes now bearing the Rinnegan. Recognising a piece of his own strength in each of them, Madara announces that this final clash will settle who truly stands supreme.
