Overview

Honey Queen is the one who ate this fruit, which first surfaced in the second movie as a non-canon Logia. Its gift is the freedom to make, steer, and melt down into a watery fluid whenever the user pleases. The label traces to torotoro, a Japanese onomatopoeia describing a syrupy fluid, and English versions render it as the Liquid-Liquid Fruit. It also carries a small historical footnote as the earliest non-canon Logia to appear.

Mechanics

Once turned into a lilac-tinted liquid of unspecified type, the user can trickle through tight openings and let loose fluid blasts, with solid attacks passing right through the watery body. Yet the drawbacks bite hard. While liquefied the user carries no real physical power, and reverting is impossible if confined somewhere the original body cannot fit, precisely the trap Nami exploited to bottle and seal Honey Queen inside a jar. Her outfit likewise stays behind with every change, obliging Boo Jack to fetch it, and cold undoes her, freezing her solid during a frosty mountain ascent. On top of all that, the ordinary Devil Fruit vulnerabilities remain.

Notable Users

Honey Queen alone commands the fruit, and she prefers it for quick ambushes, such as when she snatched Sanji and sent a broad surge of liquid crashing into the Straw Hats, hard enough to spill him from their balloon. She also liquefies to move and evade at speed, running through piping to travel more quickly.
