Dark hair gathered into a single pigtail and a pair of glasses mark this ten year old girl. At the secretary tryout she turned up in a dark double-breasted coat layered over a pale collared shirt, paired with lace-edged socks and bar shoes. Once installed at Iceburg's side, she switched to a pink pinstriped jacket worn over a red long-sleeved shirt with a matching short red skirt. Two years earlier, when she was eight, she stood roughly a head shorter and kept her hair cropped closer.

Little has been revealed about her temperament, but the constant smile she wears suggests she takes genuine pleasure in her work.

Following CP9's downfall at Enies Lobby, Iceburg opened auditions to replace Kalifa as the company's secretary, and Alice entered as the 153rd applicant out of a field exceeding 156 candidates. Her performance carried the day, and she landed the position. Some time later, when a recorded message from Vegapunk was set to broadcast worldwide, she told Iceburg she was arranging things so the people of Water 7 could watch, then took in the announcement beside Iceburg, Lulu, and Tilestone. In the non-canon One Piece Film: Red, she joined Iceburg on a visit to Dock 1 while the shipwrights listened to a performance.
