Arista's design shifted with the performer in the role. Under Tanaka Seina, she appears as a lean woman whose long brown hair falls with a fringe across the forehead, dressed in a frill-collared white button-up, baggy white trousers, a tan hip sash, black boots, and a brown tricorne crowned with a grey plume. Under Ameron, she instead reads as fair-skinned, her long red hair parted down the center and bound into pigtails, paired with a floral bikini top, black shorts, a beige sash, red-and-black striped stockings, and a striped bandana. Both takes wear the black coat shared by the Tongari Pirates.

Arista throws herself eagerly into the hunt for fresh recruits, keen to swell the crew she shares with Sole.

Within the Tokyo Pirates Festival 2018 production, Arista, Sole, and the rest of the Tongari Pirates worked the crowds on Tongari Island, trying to sign visitors onto their crew while the Marines staged a rival recruitment drive nearby.
