Appearance

Sandersonia is a big, curvy woman whose serpentine nature surfaces in a broad, oversized head, sea-green eyes that turn amber when she changes, and a long forked tongue she often lets hang from her mouth. Her dress follows the revealing Kuja fashion: a green bikini top patterned in white, a cape draped over it, green panties ringed by hip flaps, brown boots, and one green stocking bearing the crew's mark. Her cape and scale-styled swimwear change at Rusukaina, and after the arena fire stripped her clothes she bound her chest in bandage-like wrapping. Tucked beneath her cape and long green hair is the hoof-shaped slave brand burned on by her Celestial Dragon owners, a mark her sisters carry too, and the panther Bacura usually walks beside her in place of a snake.

Personality

Deeply fond of Hancock, Sandersonia is the most openly emotional of the trio, and dwelling on their grim past can leave her sobbing until Marigold settles her. She maintains the Gorgon-curse fiction but, like Marigold, has never personally told the lie. In combat she grows playful, teasing and tormenting her targets before she finishes them, a cockiness that undid her against Luffy's Supreme King Haki and his Gear 2. She holds sincere respect for Gloriosa and Shakuyaku, who sheltered the sisters, calls Rayleigh a friend, and counts the World Government her foe after her time enslaved by the World Nobles.

Abilities

Ruling at her sisters' side, Sandersonia commands authority over Amazon Lily and its women as one of the crew's elite Kuja warriors. Her will runs strong, letting her endure Luffy's Supreme King Haki. She draws power from the Anaconda model of the Hebi Hebi no Mi, a Zoan that lets her become a great snake; she binds and lashes with her tail while her long, supple body bends clear of incoming attacks. She can also reshape her hair into a cluster of serpents whose fangs are tough as steel. Armament Haki lets her wound the rubbery Luffy directly, and her Observation Haki is sharp enough to slip past fast strikes, though it fails her once an enemy moves far quicker than she does.

Snatched by slavers as a child and handed to World Nobles, Sandersonia was branded and force-fed a Devil Fruit for her masters' fun until Fisher Tiger's strike on Mary Geoise freed her and her sisters. Guided home by Rayleigh, Shakuyaku, and Elder Nyon, the three spun the tale of killing a Gorgon to hide their brands and seized power over Amazon Lily, with Hancock crowned empress and later made a Warlord. When Luffy crashed into Hancock's bath and saw the secret, Sandersonia and Marigold transformed and fought him in the arena with their Saragi Dance; as her burning cape nearly bared her back, Luffy shielded her, and his refusal to expose them flipped her hostility into respect. She and Marigold raged when Luffy then asked Hancock to slip into Impel Down, only to be shocked when their love-stricken sister agreed. Left to mind Amazon Lily, she later reunited with Rayleigh, helped collect Luffy from Rusukaina, and in the final saga joined the talk over the menace Vegapunk's inventions posed to their island.
