Charlotte Newshi

Newshi resembles his decuplet brothers but stands taller and bulkier than the rest. Purple hair reaches his neck, framing tiny beady eyes and a nose like a button. His outfit is a pink jacket worn above a red shirt, finished with a yellow necktie, white trousers, and a lilac bowler. The manga swaps that necktie for a bow tie in the scene at Cacao Island.

Compared with his more lighthearted decuplet brothers, Newshi carries himself with a graver air. He voiced doubts about amassing such an overwhelming force just to deal with the Straw Hat Pirates.

Officer rank in the Big Mom Pirates places lower-ranking crewmates under Newshi's command. His defining power comes from the Gocha Gocha no Mi, a Paramecia fruit that merges him together with the other nine decuplets to form one enormous, lanky figure brandishing a giant scythe. On his own he carries a scythe whose blade ends in two spikes. The anime adds a sequence, Ichi! Ni! San! Shi! Go!, in which the male decuplets each strike a foe in turn according to birth order.

The ten siblings were born eighteen years ago to Big Mom, marking the largest single birth she ever had. Newshi and three of his decuplet brothers sat in on a Big Mom Pirates meeting that reviewed the status of the Straw Hats and their accomplices after the invasion of Whole Cake Island. The next evening they arrived at Cacao Island alongside many siblings and crewmates to reinforce Oven's battalion against Luffy, and Newshi commented on the absurd scale of their numbers. As the appointed hour neared, the decuplets drew their scythes and braced to strike. He later drew on the Gocha Gocha no Mi power to turn his strength against the Vinsmokes.
