Chico Chip

Character

Chico Chip is a non-canon Marine officer who was later rebuilt into a one-of-a-kind Pacifista. He appears in the games WANTED and Pirate Sweeping Operation as the only such cyborg not based on Bartholomew Kuma.

Appearance

Even though he is a cyborg, nothing about Chico Chip gives it away at first, since he passes for a regular Marine in the standard uniform with the service cap pulled over his short brown hair. Once his Pacifista conversion is complete, his frame bulks up considerably.

Personality

After the remodeling he turns sparing with words, speaking only in English and keeping a serious front while still showing flashes of humor. His hushed, stoic manner has a way of rubbing off on everyone nearby, quieting them down too.

History

What sets him apart among the Pacifista is that he is the lone unit not patterned after Bartholomew Kuma, and pressing the mole on his body works like a switch that boosts his power. The transformation also stripped away his ability to speak Japanese, leaving him to talk rarely and only in English. Earlier, before the cyborg work, he carried a small water gun. During the WANTED event his talent for the crowd was simply a smile, after which he mingled with the audience and helped bring in Demalo Black. Once rebuilt into the special Pacifista, he joined the Pirate Sweeping Operation under Helmeppo and Koby to hunt down pirates.
