Cibalero

Standing like a carved monument, Cibalero is a figure assembled mostly out of stone. Its face is almost blank, divided down the middle into one black side and one white side. A blue luminescence runs through its head and its limbs, and the weapon it grips looks to have been shaped from ice.

The construct draws on the water aspect of the Divine Breath. Its body is remarkably tough, soaking up heavy blows before it finally falls. With Frozen Truth it slams its spear down to raise a freezing column of water beneath a foe and lock them in ice. Through Weapon: Frozen King it forms small rings of water in its palms, then unleashes a ring of geysers that surround and pummel its targets. Using Frost Ice King, a sphere of water gathers at its chest and fires a blue beam that traces a line along the ground, spiking ice upward and freezing whatever lies in its path.

This colossus came into being once the original Water Colossus was retired, and its makers deliberately built it weaker to head off any risk of a rampage. The four newer guardians were the first models to reach complete stability, and the unit received a distinct name so nobody would mistake it for its predecessor. When Waford sank into the Blue Sea, each of these colossi happened to be sealed within its own ruin, leaving Cibalero shut inside the Ice Block Ruins for roughly two centuries. Once the Straw Hats came back from the Water 7 Memoria, they pushed into those ruins, came upon Cibalero, and toppled it in combat, scattering a fresh burst of their ability cubes into the air.
