Dias

Short and lightly tanned, Dias has spiky brown hair and thick black brows. His outfit pairs a blue-and-beige shirt with fingerless blue gloves, light brown pants, and blue boots, topped by a long red cape. A green triangular charm, the Fisherman's Emblem, hangs from a necklace at his chest, and a boomerang is almost always in his grip.

Fearless and headstrong, Dias never backs down from pirates who menace him or his friend Atoli, and he repeatedly puts himself in harm's way to shield her or to aid Luffy. His guiding wish is to discover the legendary Rainbow Island, a goal that drives the entire adventure.

Separated from his parents in childhood, Dias kept his late father's Fisherman's Emblem as a keepsake. While working a harbor sale in Loguetown, he was rescued from bullying pirates by the Straw Hats, who befriended him and offered to teach him to fight. After defending Atoli from the thugs Garride and Kaabo and witnessing Luffy's near-execution on Roger's platform, Dias and Atoli boarded the Going Merry and set out for the Grand Line together.

The voyage carried them past Laboon and through a string of clashes with the Drayke Pirates, who hunted the children for their emblems, as well as run-ins with Baroque Works agents and the princess Vivi. Across islands like Royal Sun, Great Ground, and Festa Circle, Dias and the crew gathered the herbs and clues needed to locate Rainbow Island, while Atoli was eventually abducted by the pirate captain Drayke.

Reaching Rainbow Island at last, Dias slipped into Drayke's castle to free Atoli, only for the villain to seize all three emblems and claim the Rainbow Eye, which possessed him as the vengeful Rainbow King. With the Straw Hats and Atoli cheering him on, Dias struck the possessed king down. Offered the chance to become the next Rainbow King, he declined, and the crew sank the dangerous relic into the sea. Dias chose to settle on Silver Arrow Island with Atoli, parting from the Straw Hats with Luffy's standing offer to rejoin them anytime.
