Don Axe

Hulking and broad-shouldered, Don Axe has yellow skin, cropped black hair, and a thick beard. A pair of large bull horns juts from the back of his head, an eyepatch covers his left eye, and an oversized ring hangs from his nose. A metal horseshoe wraps the back of his neck, with a necklace bearing a smaller horseshoe hanging at its front. He sports a brief blue cow-print vest that bares most of his chest, plus black sleeves on each forearm. A large headless silver fish is fixed to his upper right arm, while a horseshoe-rimmed shield sits on the upper left.

Don Axe is a savage who treats territory seized by force as rightfully his. Anyone who provokes him risks being killed on the spot, and that ruthlessness extends even to children.

In line with the other pirate bosses found throughout World Seeker, Don Axe boasts notable raw strength and leaping ability, though Luffy can put him down without much trouble. His weapons are two oversized axes, each carrying a pair of blades. A typical combination sees him chop downward with the right axe, follow at once with the left, then jump skyward and bury both blades into the ground as he comes down. His story role is brief: when the boys Doni and Eric reached Battery Island and irritated him, he moved to kill them, only for Luffy and Jeanne to appear, and Luffy quickly defeated him to save the pair.
