Known to most as Mr. 3, Galdino is a wax-wielding former officer agent of Baroque Works and the chief villain of the Little Garden Arc. After Impel Down he sides with Buggy and Luffy, later joins the Buggy Pirates, and ends up serving the Cross Guild under Crocodile.
When he first showed up, Galdino came across as a slim, ordinary-height figure whose build looked notably frail. Following Baroque Works custom, he tucks his agent number across his outfit: threes mark his vest, the upper rim of his glasses, and the single large three shaped from his topknot. His hair stays neatly combed, he wears glasses, and a Log Pose once sat on his left wrist; for comic effect his hair bends into symbols, an exclamation point when startled or an arrow when he gestures. In Impel Down he wore striped prison clothes, his topknot drooping, one lens cracked, with an untidy beard from the heat. Past the timeskip he kept the beard, regrew a full mustache, and took to wearing suspenders alongside a red bow tie over a pale shirt.
Galdino holds himself in very high regard and never hides it, fancying himself a master tactician who wins through sharp wits and a total lack of scruples. Crocodile partly confirmed the boast, ranking him above stronger agents for his intellect. He also styles himself an artist, sealing victims in wax as living statues for Miss Goldenweek to paint. Cornered in a real fight, however, he reveals a deep cowardly streak, and a sadistic side shows in his taste for slow, sculptural killing over quick deaths. Impel Down softened him somewhat: he risked himself to block Magellan's poison and repay a debt to Luffy, wept over Bentham's sacrifice, and chose to honor his fallen comrade by trying to free Ace. He caps his sentences with a meaningless verbal tic, "gane."
Partnered with Miss Goldenweek, Mr. 3 was sent to Little Garden to kill the Straw Hats and Vivi, where he trapped the giant Brogy in wax and meant to turn the crew into statues, only for Luffy to undo the plan and beat him. He resurfaced in Arabasta, where Crocodile drained him and dropped him among the Bananawani, yet he survived and slipped away unnoticed. Arrested later with the syndicate's top members, he was shipped to Impel Down. There he allied with Buggy, helped ignite the prison riot, shielded the escapees from Magellan with his Candle Wall, and reached the getaway ship in tears over Bentham. At Marineford he posed as one of Ace's executioners and, after Kizaru shattered Luffy's key, forged a wax replacement that freed Ace from his shackles. He afterward joined the Buggy Pirates, became part of Buggy's Delivery during the timeskip thanks to Buggy's Warlord status, and was absorbed into the Cross Guild when Crocodile took over the group, greeting his old boss with nervous, taunting loyalty. His Devil Fruit, the Doru Doru no Mi, lets him create and command candle wax that hardens stronger than steel.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
