The band drew together over a hundred giant craftsmen, every one of them armed with an oversized warhammer. Among its ranks stood several of the Ancient Giants, lending the group a formidable physical presence. The kanji written for its name, 大槌戦団, reads roughly as "Great Hammer War Band."
Personality
Galleila carried a near-mythical reputation, so faint that Harald assumed they were nothing but legend. Rocks D. Xebec, however, was certain they survived somewhere and leaned on Linlin's contacts to hunt them down, calling them peerless wreckers and judging their backing essential to his dream of ruling the world. He reckoned that joined with Harald he could command and direct them.
History
Long ago the group sailed out from Elbaph toward far-off shores, only to be seized and locked away. They managed to smuggle a letter home describing their plight, a document Jarul still keeps, and he suspects the World Government was behind their capture. What became of them afterward stays unknown, though whispers of their frozen bodies hidden away have circulated among pirates. The giants depicted alongside Jarul's account resemble figures in the frozen hall on Punk Hazard, and Galleila notably echoes the Galley-La Company, both bands of shipwrights with strikingly similar names.
