History

On the journey she crossed paths with a guarded Momonosuke, who refused food from everyone, her included. Later she trailed him into a hidden chamber and stepped inside just after he swallowed a prototype Artificial Devil Fruit. He opened up to her about his past, and she gently urged him to enjoy the moment despite their captivity. When officials burst in, she tried to pull him along, only to watch in terror as he morphed into a dragon and bolted.
During a routine checkup she asked the staff where the boy had gone and described the transformation, accepting their assurance that he was being cared for elsewhere. When Kin'emon arrived posing as Momonosuke's father, she relayed the same account. Later, while moving with the G-5 Marines, she and the other children heard from Tashigi that they would soon meet Dr. Vegapunk.
