As a fish-man he is born with roughly ten times the strength of an ordinary human, doubling again underwater, while the spines covering him blunt unarmored blows; by swelling up like a pufferfish he thrusts those spikes outward to impale a foe, and such power and command won him his squad leadership. He took part when Hody Jones, along with Vander Decken IX, seized the Ryugu Palace, riding behind them, then trailed Hody atop the Sea Beast on the way to Gyoncorde Plaza. Leading its Sea Urchin Armor Spine Squad against Sanji, he ordered a spiked charge, but Sanji simply leapt up so the fish-men collided with one another.
