Personality

Spite and blind devotion define him. Kardia prizes Doflamingo above his own life, so much so that he gunned down followers who dared suggest he should chase the title of Pirate King himself once their captain was imprisoned. In his youth he adored singing, but the scorn of those around him drove him to lash out at his critics and vow to set the whole world ablaze. He was nearly executed for it before Doflamingo rescued him and invited him to join the crew and sing, an offer Kardia gladly took.

Abilities

He commands his subordinates Herz and Cuore, fights with a katana, and keeps a pistol on hand. His real threat is the Nibi Nibi no Mi, a Paramecia fruit that lets him recreate the likeness of the dead. By unnerving a target with the sudden appearance of someone long gone, he opens an opening to shoot, a trick that let him deceive and wound a fighter as seasoned as Trafalgar Law. In Wano he formed the New Donquixote Family to take revenge on Luffy and to spring Doflamingo from Impel Down. Learning that Tama held an umbrella made by Ace, he used it to mimic Ace's form against Luffy, even managing to floor him, until Zoro forced him to drop the disguise. He also turned into Donquixote Rosinante to catch Law off guard and hurl him into the sea. Luffy's Gear 2 eventually knocked him out, and after he revived to insult Ace and Rosinante, a combined assault from Luffy and Law engulfed him in flames and threw him into the ocean.
