Kurosawa

Somewhere in his middle years, Kurosawa carries a fairly ordinary build over tan skin. A sizeable nose dominates his face, while his brows taper into outward-curling tips and his usual look blends a frowning grin with a creased forehead. Behind a widow's peak, his black hair gathers into a ponytail, and a long dark beard of matching color frames his jaw.

His everyday attire centers on a dark green kimono whose sleeves carry a sun motif, worn over a dark collar with striped hakama. The assault on Onigashima sees him swap this for a paler kimono dotted with circular patterns above hakama of a darker shade.

Steadfast devotion to the Kouzuki name runs through everything about him. For twenty unbroken years he trusted that Kouzuki Momonosuke and the Scabbards would come home, and that conviction never faltered across the whole stretch.

Far back in the past, Kurosawa already counted himself among the Kouzuki Family's sworn allies. When Toki's foretelling named both the eventual fall of Kurozumi Orochi and the reopening of Wano's sealed gates, he and his comrades resolved to endure the prophesied two-decade wait for the Scabbards to surface again. The moment Momonosuke reappeared, the group renewed their oath to the family and bared their blades against Orochi.

Later he was caught and confined in Rasetsu Town for scheming against the shogun. Two days out from the raid, he and Jibuemon hashed out a way for the allied forces to gather without tipping off the enemy. Once inside Onigashima behind a borrowed face, Kurosawa fell in with Kin'emon's Eastern contingent, and after Luffy declared all-out war on the Live Floor, he shed his disguise and braced for combat. A katana is the weapon he brings to the fight.
