Meryl

A young woman of lightly tanned complexion, Meryl has large brown eyes set under a short brown bob. Her wardrobe pairs a sleeveless blue top with matching shorts. Capping the look are a horned, fur-trimmed hat in blue and a pair of beige sandals.

Hot-tempered by nature, Meryl menaces Otsu and launches into a brawl with the Straw Hats the moment they intervene. She is at least mindful of her own aggression and can hold it in check when circumstances demand. On top of that, she finds Chopper utterly cute.

A treasure-promising parrot drew Meryl and her followers to the Nanatsu Islands, where they came ashore on Mi Island, a place gripped by punishing cold. She resolved to commandeer the mountain cottage that Otsu occupied and convert it into her base. After Otsu beat one of her men, Meryl showed up herself and found Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper staying with him; her bid to intimidate the old man and the pirates collapsed into a fight, and she pulled back to the village. The groups crossed paths again at the village tavern later on, where she still held a grudge over her earlier loss. Once the Straw Hats drove the Simon Pirates from the settlement, however, she set her bitterness aside and offered them thanks. In combat she carries a long staff and handles it with fair competence, though she and her crew prove feeble enough that the Straw Hats overcome them with ease.
