Minchey

Minchey stands at roughly average height with a well-built physique, and red hair worn on the longer side. He turns out in the regulation Marine getup, complete with shoulder epaulets and the standard cap, and adds a pair of brown fingerless gloves.

For all his swagger, Minchey keeps an easygoing manner and stays composed heading into a fight. Beneath that calm, however, runs a strong streak of avarice, which surfaced plainly in his scheme to seize Zenny's hoard of treasure.

The squadron Minchey led crossed paths with the Straw Hat Pirates but lost track of them in heavy fog. He afterward discovered that one of his men had glimpsed an uncharted island in that mist, and that the soldier had been ordered to keep the sighting from their captain. Minchey connected the location to Zenny, a pirate moneylender who had vanished in those waters long ago after robbing pirates.

Acting on this, he assaulted the Straw Hats on Goat Island and demanded Zenny's fortune. He overpowered Zenny and his goats, but the Straw Hats stepped in and beat him. Captain Moore then placed him under arrest for treachery, stripping away his rank by physically tearing the epaulets from his uniform.
