In beast form he resembles a minotaur fitted with the usual cute eyes, fat lips, and a runny nose. The markings across his hide mimic those of a Holstein Friesian cow.

He goes shirtless, wearing striped trousers held up by a leather belt whose bronze buckle is shaped like a hoof. A spiked club is rarely far from his grip.

Bentham summed him up as a cold, heartless monster who treats people like garbage. Despite a comical exterior, Minotaurus is genuinely cruel, and his viciousness terrifies the inmates of Impel Down. He clubs rioters and enemies without mercy, frequently swinging for their heads, and he carries out whatever Sadi, the chief guard, commands.

Posted under Sadi as a Jailer Beast, his role is to torture prisoners and keep order on the levels. The unnamed Zoan fruit he ate transforms him into a cow, and he has awakened it, sacrificing his personality to become a nearly mindless animal. Awakening lends him greater power, quickness, and resilience plus rapid healing. He is the earliest awakened Zoan user the series reveals, and he fights with a spiked club.
