Sadi serves as a chief guard inside the great prison Impel Down, insisting that everyone address her as "Little Sadi." A sadistic, dominatrix-styled jailer who revels in others' pain, she stands as a major antagonist of the Impel Down Arc.
Tall and fairly slender, Sadi has long, disheveled orange hair with bangs draped over her eyes, and her whole design evokes a dominatrix. Her scanty red costume, rendered hot pink in the anime, follows a devil motif complete with horns and a trident, the top covering only the upper portion of her chest with fringe that also rings her waist. Long sleeves taper into stylized tears, and a yellow ring sits at her navel linking one strap above to two below. A scarf-like cape, white outside and faint pink within, wraps her neck, while she wears candle-shaped earrings alongside spiked, curl-tipped high heels that nod to Arabian footwear. Topping the look is a horn-like headpiece, and she carries a pitchfork. In her childhood she turned up in a black headband, a plain dress, and black shoes, her hair already covering her eyes, shown grieving beside a small grave she had made for a hamster.
Sadi takes cruel pleasure in inflicting pain and torment, sparing not even her Marine allies, and the screams of her victims thrill her to the point of arousal. Her wildly exaggerated reactions, however, render her more comic than seductive. She is intensely proud of Impel Down's near-flawless defenses and brushed aside the Marines' offer of help. She also peppers her speech with a drawn-out "mmmmm?!" and demands the title "Little Sadi," much as a dominatrix expects to be called "Mistress."
In her youth Sadi kept a beloved pet that died for reasons never explained, a loss that struck her deeply, after which she buried it. During the crisis at Impel Down, she first stood before the prison gates and waved off the Marines who came to help capture Monkey D. Luffy, ordering them instead to reinforce the outer walls. Stunned by news of Minotaurus's defeat, she was set to guard the way into Level 5 with the remaining Jailer Beasts. Once Luffy was caught, she sent her subordinates and the beasts hunting for Bon Kurei, growing furious and lashing them when they failed. After the escape of Luffy, Ivankov, Inazuma, Jinbe, and Crocodile from Level 6, Hannyabal sent her down to Level 4, where she tore into the prisoners and the stone bridge spanning the Pool of Blood, using the whip hidden inside her pitchfork. Ivankov intervened, and their duel showcased Sadi's agility before Ivankov seized her whip and beat her, leaving her bound and injured until Magellan had her freed. Following the timeskip, she had fallen for the now-demoted Magellan and was seen celebrating his return to duty.
