Mizuta Madaisuki

Brown hair distinguishes Madaisuki, its front section grown long, swept upward, then left to fall back down. His outfit centers on a shirt patterned in blue spots, paired with matching blue trousers and sandals, and a blade rides across his back. Because the two Mizuta brothers are identical, every physical trait they share is the same, with wardrobe the only separator. The detail that sets him apart from his sibling is the denser scatter of dots covering his shirt.

Madaisuki carried the same cheerful, good-humored spirit that defined his entire crew. Music was a joy to him, and he took special delight in performing for Laboon. An eager spirit drove him as well, since he idolized Brook and was keen to pick up the older swordsman's approach to fighting.

In the distant past the Mizuta brothers signed on with the Rumbar Pirates, and the group soon crossed paths with Laboon, a lonely young whale that trailed their vessel after losing its pod. Roaming the West Blue, they clashed with rival crews and filled their voyage with song. They eventually reached Reverse Mountain and met Crocus, lingered there for three months of merriment, then pressed on toward the Grand Line and left Laboon in Crocus's care.

The mood darkened after the crew stopped at a wooded island and their captain, Yorki, fell gravely ill. Madaisuki watched alongside the others as Yorki departed to keep his sickness from spreading. A brutal clash with an enemy crew later ruined the Rumbar Pirates, and Madaisuki was slain after taking several wounds to the midsection, finished by a sword driven into his skull. His twin, Mawaritosuki, outlived him only briefly before the poison claimed the remaining members as they sang Binks' Sake. In the manga his skeleton is shown with two blades and a torn shirt exposing the ribs, while the anime softened the scene to spare younger viewers.
