Isaac cuts a stout figure with a curved, beak-shaped nose and short brown hair combed straight back, finished by a dark moustache. His look pairs a tan shirt with a golden cape, striped trousers, and tall black boots, and his concept art shows him gripping a rapier.

He has a soft spot for praise, growing visibly flustered the moment Roger talked up the crew.

Isaac's rank as tactical staff officer suggests both a seat near the top of the crew and a head for battle strategy, though the rapier in his concept art has never been shown in action. Forty-two years before the present he was already sailing with Roger when his captain announced a plan to recruit Shakuyaku. After she was kidnapped to God Valley, the Roger Pirates went to bring her back and clashed there with the Rocks Pirates, the Marines, and smaller crews; once Silvers Rayleigh freed her, Roger had the others cover their escape and grab the island's treasure. Sixteen years later in Paradise, the crew crushed a Marine battalion just as the Whitebeard Pirates closed in, and the two sides fought for four days before settling into a friendly exchange that won Kouzuki Oden a place aboard. Isaac sailed with the crew to Laugh Tale, shared in the farewell party, and vanished from the record once the Roger Pirates disbanded.
