Appearance

Onigiri is a little white dog whose head looks too big for the rest of him. A lone dark stripe runs from his brow back along his spine, an arrangement that lends him a faint resemblance to a rice ball. Sometime after Law took him in, he started sporting a small black bowtie at the neck.

Personality

Few details of the dog's temperament are given, but he comes across as thoroughly affectionate, having clung to Law the instant the two met. The same devotion shows in routine: Onigiri stations himself by the door each day, awaiting Law's return from class.

History

Gaimon scooped the stray up off the city streets and carried him into New World Middle School. The dog made a home of Law's operation room beside the Straw Hat crew and would not leave even after the group was thrown out, sticking close to Law. During an assault on the room by the Student Council and the teachers, Law fed and guarded him, sealing his place as Law's pet.

Afterward the pair are often seen together, the dog walking on a leash or riding Law's shoulder, joining him at cafes or minding the house during school hours. Both his looks and his name nod to onigiri, the Japanese dish of rice balls wrapped in seaweed.
