Ronja

A small giant girl, Ronja has brown eyes and blonde hair gathered into a three-segment bubble ponytail that curls forward like a scorpion's tail. Apart from two prominent, square canines, her upper teeth are absent. She dresses in a short fur cape over a patterned frock whose light squares are outlined by dark lines crossing vertically and horizontally.

Bright and hopeful by nature, Ronja holds onto optimism even when danger surrounds her. Sharing the outlook of her Walrus School classmates, she opposes violence and fighting and has a soft spot for humans. Her courage is striking: though terrified that Gunko meant to drop her to a fatal fall, she worked to settle the watching adults and other children, telling them she would be all right and that none of them should risk Elbaph's history on her account.

On the Straw Hats' arrival at the school, two classmates wanted to hold the visitors as captives, and Ronja scolded them for it. Colon soon appeared and came to blows with Luffy, and the brawl left Ronja and her fellow pupils annoyed with him for picking a fight. At a later point she and eight other students were seized as bargaining chips by the Knights of God, who aimed to coerce the local grown giants into a coming large war. The youngsters were placed under a sleeping power and led astray by steering arrows.

After waking from Killingham's slumber ability, the children discovered they could not move while Gunko's arrow held them. Colon warned them that they were being abducted just before two MMA creatures sprang an ambush, yet Ronja kept faith that things would work out. Wanting their threat understood, Sommers had Gunko walk Ronja out onto an arrow jutting over the branch's edge, poised to drop her unless the giants agreed to set fire to the school along with the library. Forced to speak, Ronja shared how both the Owl Library and her Walrus School had shaped her life and brought her every one of her friends, called it wrong to harm others by tearing down such places, and said through her tears that she would accept dying so long as the institutions survived. Unable to hear more, Jarul yielded to the demands of the Knights of God and ordered Ange to level both buildings.

The march resumed, and Imu's arrival left the captives unconscious. Pressed onward by the arrow, the children listened as Jarul proclaimed war upon the invading demons and upon the World Government itself. Near the coast, Sommers taunted them about being shipped off to Mary Geoise forever, but their guardians reached them in time, battling through a Nika MMA. A devastating strike from the New Giant Warrior Pirates flung the creature into Sommers and overturned the waiting ship. That blow also scattered the Sea Clouds, opening a deep gap down to the Underworld, and with Gunko no longer herself the arrow drove the children toward a lethal drop. Ronja stayed upbeat right to the end, and her father appeared to praise her courage and hold her as they fell, only for Loki and Luffy below to catch every child and guardian on Loki's back. Once they reached the Western Village, Ronja and the other children planted themselves before their guardians against Sommers' assault, until Zoro, Luffy, and Loki put him down and the thorns binding the children fell away at last.
