Saru

Saru is the pet dog of two World Nobles, Saint Rosward and Saint Shalria. It lives among the Celestial Dragons at Mary Geoise and shares its owners' disdain for commoners.

Saru resembles a pug in coloring and shape, though its body and legs are longer than a typical pug's and its tail hangs straight instead of curling. It wears a protective helmet, following the custom of its World Noble owners.

Saru wears a helmet to shield itself from the air that ordinary people breathe, matching the custom followed by its World Noble masters, Rosward and Shalria.

For the most part Saru behaves like an ordinary dog, but because it lives among World Nobles it is allowed to do whatever it pleases without restraint. No special powers have been shown, though it likely enjoys the same privileges as its Celestial Dragon owners.

When Devil Dias's Bomb Collar detonated and left him badly injured at the Sabaody Archipelago, Saru relieved itself on the wounded man. Shalria then scolded the dog with mock disapproval for its rude behavior toward Dias.
