Rosward Family

Ranking among the royal lines that constitute the World Nobles, this house has three confirmed members. Saint Rosward stands as its patriarch, joined by his son Saint Charlos and his daughter Saint Shalria, each of them an ordinary Celestial Dragon. Charlos, notably, is on record as having wed at least thirteen women, a detail that underscores the entitlement running through the clan.

A slave sale drew the family to Sabaody, where they meant to bid at the Human Auctioning House. Straying from his father and sister, Charlos claimed the captive Marie for his thirteenth marriage and nearly brawled with Roronoa Zoro. Once the three reunited, they set their sights on the mermaid Camie, but the Straw Hats broke up the proceedings. Charlos then shot the fish-man Hatchan, prompting Monkey D. Luffy to smash him in the face, and Rosward too was unwittingly knocked out amid the disorder, which left Shalria berating the government troops for their failure to seize the crew.

Saint Rosward leads the household and had leased Bartholomew Kuma as a slave, so word that his schemes had been foiled left him enraged. His son Charlos made repeated attempts to seize the Mermaid Princess Shirahoshi during the Levely, held two years past Sabaody, only to be halted first by his fellow Noble Donquixote Mjosgard and then by Sai and Leo. Charlos never managed to take her, and for his defiance Mjosgard was afterward put to death by the Knights of God. Saint Shalria completes the roster of known members.
