Scarlet

Scarlet is an enormous gorilla coated in purple-red fur, dwarfing the rest of Shiki's crew. His torso is broad and his arms hang massive and nearly to the floor, ending in huge hands, while his legs stay comically short by comparison. Big fangs line his mouth, and round spectacles usually conceal his eyes. His wardrobe is loud: a pink jacket with oversized buttons and what looks like a string of light blue beads dangling from a chest pocket, green polka-dotted bermuda shorts, a showy light blue hat in the same dotted pattern, and a white scarf wrapped at his neck.

Plenty of characters brand Scarlet a pervert gorilla, a label rooted in how he reacts to human women. His usual hard glare melts into a comically lovestruck expression the instant a beautiful woman appears. He grew especially smitten with Robin, even attempting to marry her. He is also a willing participant in his captain's antics, frequently laughing at the comedy bits performed by Shiki and Dr. Indigo and striking poses right along with them.

Scarlet's sheer bulk grants him tremendous physical power. He met the force of one of Sanji's Diable Jambe kicks with a bare fist, even while taking burns for it, and he managed to beat Robin, though she had already been worn down by the Agehaguera. On top of his strength he is a capable dancer, joining in every one of his captain's little dance routines.
