Totts

Totts is a portly man set on slim, gangly legs, with a mohawk on top. He typically goes about in a simple tank top with suspenders. Seven years or so earlier, as a younger adult, he sported a leather jacket.

As a boy he had a bullying streak, hurling stones at Kuma together with Gyogyo because he refused to believe the giant child's claimed age, though Kuma's mercy in easing their pain converted the two tormentors into friends. He was sweet on Ginny, much like other Sorbet boys, and matured into a man devoted utterly to Kuma, even touching off riots in Castle Town once Kuma was wrongfully jailed for opposing the enslavement of townsfolk.

Raised in the Sorbet Kingdom, Totts and Gyogyo first picked on Bartholomew Kuma over his improbable size, only for Ginny to thrash them and Kuma to soothe away their hurt, which sparked a friendship. Years later he carried fish over to Kuma's church hoping to win Ginny over, and he stood with her in a doomed bid to spring Kuma from jail; the arrest that followed was undone once Monkey D. Dragon's Freedom Fighters cast down the corrupt ruler Bekori. On hearing that Ginny's daughter Bonney had begun showing Sapphire Scales, he combed the kingdom for doctors able to treat her, and afterward greeted her return from care at Egghead.

When Conney asked him to shepherd Bonney out from under the World Government's so-called protection, Totts and the other Sorbet fishermen converted their fishing vessel into a pirate ship and whisked her away, cheering as she downed a pursuing Alpha. That instant gave rise to the Bonney Pirates, bent on tracking down Kuma. The crew turned up at the Sabaody Archipelago while Bonney inhaled vast piles of food, then ventured into the New World after the Summit War. There the Blackbeard Pirates thrashed and bound them, and Admiral Akainu's Marines carried the lot off.
