Wanyudo

From the neck up Wanyudo is all face: a broad visage with flame-shaped sideburns and beard, heavy brows, and a bulbous nose. Everything below has been reshaped by his SMILE into the small body of a pug, so the oversized head sits atop a tiny dog.

A near-constant laugh marks the creature, who seems to relish the wreckage his mistress Black Maria puts him to. All that running takes its toll, though, leaving him perpetually short of breath.

Wanyudo swallowed a Pug SMILE that turned his entire body, save the head, into that of the small breed. Black Maria wields him as a personal weapon: his dog-sized form scampers along a hamster-wheel mechanism built into her polearm, conjuring fire around himself and feeding extra destructive force into her swings. For all the flame he generates, he proves vulnerable to being frozen. Their signature move, Furisode Wanyudo, has Black Maria sweep him downward in a crescent that tears apart the floor, a strike first turned on Nico Robin and Brook during a chase down a corridor. He joined the Beasts Pirates and ate his fruit at some point in the past, after which Black Maria made him the engine of her fire-spewing weapon. When Brook and Robin freed Sanji from her web and began turning the duel around, she swung Wanyudo at the pair, only for Brook to freeze him solid with his soul and take him out of the fight.
