Yadoya

A youthful girl with fair skin and big brown eyes, Yadoya wears her brown hair gathered into a bun at the back, with bangs in front and side locks that curl upward. Glasses sit on her face, and she dresses in a teal frock whose collar bears a geometric design, the sleeves folded up to her elbows.

Completing her outfit are brown sandals, a green necktie, and an apron in brown and orange decorated with a woven motif.

Courage defines Yadoya, who readily confronts pirates threatening her town rather than backing down. Repayment matters greatly to her, a conviction strong enough that she has the Straw Hat Pirates construct new shops in Trans Town to settle debts.

She is close to the townspeople, many of whom know about her lonely, difficult past and respect her for her resilience. Yadoya holds the locals in high regard in return, though she will admit the mayor tends to be unproductive. The talking raccoon Pato strikes her as both endearing and odd, since she had never encountered such a creature before.

For a long stretch Yadoya sailed the seas by herself, gathering cooking skills as she explored different cultures. Her boat eventually brought her to Trans Town, where she settled and opened her inn. As landlady she manages every shop in town and controls the goods sold throughout it. When two pirates menaced her, she stood her ground and ordered them out, and Luffy arrived to swiftly beat them, earning her respect. She fed him and let him rest, then struck a bargain to clear his bill through a favor.

After Luffy and Pato departed for Punk Hazard, she reminded him of his outstanding debt, and on their return Franky and Zoro helped her raise a tavern as repayment. As the story unfolds, she gets to know the remaining crew members and steadily expands the town's shops and services. Trouble came when Patrick Redfield reached Trans Town, summoning enemies the Straw Hats quickly dispatched. After Pato attacked and was struck aside, Redfield, having eaten a vampire-model Devil Fruit, seized Yadoya and drained her life force, leaving her near death before restoring it once he regretted abandoning Pato. She was last seen among the townsfolk seeing the Straw Hat Pirates off.
