The War on the Island of Women! A Case Involving Koby the Hero

The Red Hair Pirates drop Marco near Sphinx Island, and he thanks Shanks before flying off. A flashback on Wano shows Yamato explaining to Luffy why he will not yet join the crew: he wants to guard Wano now that Kaidou no longer rules it and stronger foes may come. Luffy accepts and bids him farewell, thanking Marco for saving his life at Marineford. In the present, a battered Hancock tells Gloriosa that as long as she stays, the Marines will keep returning, especially with the Warlord system gone.

Weeks earlier, a Marine fleet shelled the island and was met by Haki-coated Kuja arrows. Koby then deployed the new Seraphim, winged Pacifista who slapped Sweet Pea aside, one of them eerily resembling a young Hancock. The Blackbeard Pirates soon arrived, with Blackbeard firing a Seaquake at the ships and pushing toward town to claim Hancock's fruit. He neutralized attacking Marines with his darkness and clashed with a second Seraphim modeled on a young Mihawk, whose strike sheared off part of the island's central mountain. Hancock stepped onto her balcony, dazzled the crowd, and used Slave Arrow to petrify most of them. As she moved to strike Koby, Blackbeard seized her with Black Vortex and nullified her powers.

Held captive, Hancock warns Blackbeard that her abilities mean nothing without her beauty, and that killing her would leave his crew forever stone. The anime adds the Kuja's retaliation, Yamakaji's lines, and several Koby and Helmeppo beats. It also flags errors, including the Kuja gate briefly shown intact and Hancock missing her bruises during the nullification. The episode belongs to the Egghead Arc and debuts S-Snake and S-Hawk.
