Brimming with the Future! An Adventure on the Island of Science!

The woman who saved the ship names herself Lilith, a satellite of Vegapunk embodying his evil side. She moves to plunder the Thousand Sunny, ringing it with mechanical Sea Beast Weapons much like the earlier shark. Her scheme collapses when Shaka, the satellite representing Vegapunk's good, recognizes the wanted Zoro and Robin among the crew and orders Lilith to escort the Straw Hats to him instead.

Elsewhere on Egghead, Bonney leads Luffy, Jinbe, and Chopper through the island while swearing to kill Vegapunk for converting her father Kuma into a cyborg. They marvel at holographic displays, a sparring robot and an enormous parfait among them, though Luffy finds he cannot touch the projections. A satellite named Atlas then confronts them and shows off an automatic food machine, lamenting that the world lacks the funds and materials to mass produce her creations. Frustrated, she punches a hologram, revealing the light-pressure gloves that let her touch them. As the group eats, they are floored to learn Atlas, too, calls herself Vegapunk.

The episode introduces the satellites Shaka and Atlas. Kuma appears in flashback, and Vegapunk's true form is teased only as a silhouette. The running gag of multiple bodies each insisting they are the real Dr. Vegapunk anchors the chapter.
