The Long-Sought Elbaph! The Big Reunion Banquet

The Straw Hats and the Giant Warrior Pirates hold a sprawling banquet aboard the Great Eirik as they travel toward Elbaf. The crew hears that Oimo and Kashii dropped by Little Garden after Enies Lobby and found Dorry and Brogy still dueling with bare fists since their weapons had snapped. The two giants mean to restock at Elbaf before carrying on their endless contest.

By the following morning, calamity strikes. The Thousand Sunny, along with the six crewmates who had been aboard her, has vanished without trace. Nami stirs awake with a hangover inside a strange blocky room, wearing a Norse-style outfit, and realizes she is no longer on the ship.

On Gartel Island, Bartolomeo fends off thugs and peddles discounted Straw Hat goods, then torches the Red Hair Pirates' flag to flaunt his crew's superiority once he learns whose turf it is. Shanks intercepts him and demands restitution, handing over a vial of poison with a month-long deadline to make Luffy drink it. Out of devotion, Bartolomeo swallows it himself. The Barto Club appears to depart unharmed since the poison was a bluff, but Yasopp blows their ship apart with one shot, leaving the crew's fate uncertain. On Hachinosu, an enraged Blackbeard returns to find the wreckage left by the SWORD clash and the escapes of Gecko Moria and Koby, yet brightens on learning Garp is alive in custody, prizing him as leverage against the World Government. Laffitte tracks the Revolutionary Army's siege of Mary Geoise, where they wreck bandoras and choke off food deliveries to the World Nobles, and Devon delivers Caribou to the island.

This is the opening episode of the Elbaf Arc and the first released under the new seasonal format. It introduces Luminous, used here as an ending rather than an opening, making it the first episode without an opening song since Episode 1137. The title card font changed with this entry, and the next-episode preview revived We Are! as its background music for the first time since Episode 517. The Land of Gods debuts as a location. The episode rates 2.3 and ranked eighth.
