He also thanks Luffy for bringing the gold back. Out on the water, the modified ship makes for the dark cumulonimbus cloud alongside the Saruyama Alliance, steering into the whirlpool that feeds the stream.

As the vessel spirals toward the whirlpool's heart, Usopp, Nami, and Chopper lose their composure and beg to turn around, but Luffy is far too thrilled to relent. The current suddenly stills at the center, which Nami recognizes as the calm before the main event. The Blackbeard crew arrives in that lull, with Teach announcing he means to collect on Luffy's 100,000,000 berry bounty. Caught off guard, Luffy learns the figure has climbed, and Blackbeard displays both the updated poster and Zoro's new 60,000,000 berry price.
