Now, Let's Get Back our Memories! The Pirate Crew Lands on the Island!

Usopp, Chopper, and Sanji wake aboard the Going Merry with no idea why they belong there, prompting Usopp to lash together a raft so the group can paddle ashore. On the island they find Nami again, and Luffy, whose memory has already returned, takes charge as captain. Across town the locals are no help, since their recollections have been wiped too, and even the innkeeper Nami stayed with no longer knows who she is.

Three separate flashbacks fill in crew history: Sanji and Zeff stranded on a barren rock, Usopp spinning wild stories for Kaya, and a young Chopper taken under Doctor Hiriluk's wing. After the reunion, the Straw Hats work out that catching the boy is the key to reclaiming both their memories and Zoro. The child, meanwhile, abandons his hesitation in the forest and lays a spell on Zoro at last. Robin then leads everyone to a secluded spot, deciphers a stone inscription, and announces that the boy was never the true culprit, urging them toward the Palace of the Sea God.

One shot of the Going Merry omits the beige support braces that the Saruyama Alliance had fitted beneath its railing to strengthen the hull. This is anime-original filler material. Bell-mere and Nojiko appear only as pictures, while Zeff, Kaya, and Hiriluk return in flashback.
