Feudal Era Side Story - Defeat Thriller Company's Trap

Robin lays out Brook's history for the group, and they resolve to stand by him. After Thriller LTD captures the skeleton, Luffy and Zoro break in to free him. The team rebuilds their portable shrine in the shape of the Thousand Sunny and lines up against the rivals' Oars-shaped entry. Using the shrine's hidden gadgets, the Pinwheel Eatery wins the race, and Luffy launches Hogback, Perona, and Absalom into the sky for ruining the festival. Igaram seizes the prize money to repair the town but lets them glimpse the sacred treasure, a pair of panties said to grant a beautiful woman's wish.

Brook ambushes Kumashi and the zombies before heading for the enemy base and rousing a grumbling Zoro on the way. With Robin's smoke screen, Luffy and Zoro pull Brook out of captivity. Rival teams donate parts from their wrecked shrines so the rebuild can finish, and both Brook and a food-stealing Zoro join the crew of bearers. During the race Franky fuels the shrine with cola and answers every Thriller trick, from a cannon shot into the river to Perona's bats and Tararan's sticky net, finishing with the Gaon Cannon to obliterate the Oars shrine. At the end Brook asks Mao to wear the panties, earning a punch that wipes his memory once more.

This installment is flagged as filler and adapts the Boss Luffy Historical Arc rather than the main manga. It carries no eyecatchers. The shrine's design borrows directly from the Thousand Sunny, complete with a working Mini Merry that Zoro and Sanji ride to break up Perona's attack.
