Landing! The All-Female Island, Amazon Lily

Sent hurtling skyward by Kuma's strike, Luffy slams down on an island he cannot name and immediately searches for something to eat. He spots a cluster of mushrooms and wolfs them down, unaware they are parasitic Body Mushrooms that begin sprouting across his skin once he falls asleep. Three Kuja warriors on patrol discover his collapsed form and haul him back to their settlement so he can be cured. As they wash and treat him, the women stumble onto something that leaves them speechless: their patient is male, a thing no one on the island has ever been.

On Sabaody, Duval finds the Thousand Sunny and puts the Rosy Life Riders on watch over the ship until the coater appears, while Saint Shalria orders the Marines to drag the crew back so she can torture them for striking Charlos. At Shakky's bar, where Hachi, Camie, and Pappag are hiding, Shakky cautions that the tide of the era is turning. Borne aloft across the heavens by the power of Kuma, Luffy remembers Sentomaru's claim that the Warlord's victims fly for three days, reasons his crewmates are airborne as well, and settles in for a nap. He drops into a forest, follows Rayleigh's Vivre Card, and roasts a wild boar that stirs memories of his grandfather Garp. Soon after, he finds mushrooms that flood him with odd emotions and devours them. Marguerite, Sweet Pea, and Aphelandra follow the smoke to his fire, assume the unconscious figure is an unfamiliar village girl, and bring him in. Under Belladonna's guidance the villagers strip the fungus from his body and burn the stems, then decide to bathe him given his other wounds. While doing so, Sweet Pea notices a strange growth between his legs that will not come loose, so they summon Nyon, who takes one look and realizes the truth, stunning the entire room.

With this installment the Amazon Lily Arc begins, the narrator closing by naming the island as the home of the Kuja, a tribe of female warriors where any man who lands faces death; the chapter source is 514. A whole roster of new faces debuts, namely Marguerite, Sweet Pea, Aphelandra, Belladonna, Kikyo, Nerine, and Gloriosa, alongside the location itself. Several small animation slips occur: Luffy's sandals briefly disappear on landing and pop back during his treatment, while Kikyo is drawn with and then without lipstick within the same minute. As usual for this stretch, the trailer teasing the following installment is trimmed below its standard length.
