Hurry Back to Your Friends! The Maiden Island Adventure

The episode spells out the nature of Amazon Lily, a land peopled solely by the Kuja, where custom bars any man from setting foot. Luffy comes to in a cell and is handed clothes by women who have never laid eyes on a male and know nothing about them. After he accidentally offends his keepers, they open fire and he bolts, snatching the warrior Marguerite as a hostage to win back his Vivre Card. As she teaches him about the island, the rest of the tribe grows frantic to put him down before their captain, the Snake Princess, comes home.

A crowd of curious women peers into Luffy's cell, and when he wakes he stretches his arm to reclaim his straw hat from one of them. Baffled by his anatomy, the women press him to show it off, then dress him in frilly, flowered garments that make him scream, a cry they read as a battle signal. They thank him for his earlier gratitude yet shoot anyway, sending him bursting through the roof and snatching food as half the village chases him. Realizing he needs his card, Luffy hauls Marguerite into the forest, explains what it does, and learns the Kuja are led by the pirate captain Boa Hancock, whose imminent arrival spurs the tribe to act fast.

This installment continues the Amazon Lily Arc and adapts part of Chapter 515. It introduces several Kuja, including Pansy, Poppy, Pandawomanmi, Salome, Sandersonia, and Marigold, and closes with the debut of Boa Hancock herself. Pandawomanmi turns up in a brief cameo.
