Shaking Fish-Man Island! A Celestial Dragon Drifts In!

Now that Jinbe holds a Warlord's seat, the Sun Pirates return home and ease back into everyday life on the island, all of them grateful for what Tiger achieved. Otohime tells Jinbe how much his work means to the cause she champions. Soon a wrecked ship sends out a distress call, and the islanders waver once they realize a World Noble lies aboard. Otohime insists they offer aid and heads there herself, leaving Neptune to wonder why such a man drifted to their waters in the first place.

The Noble, whose name proves to be Mjosgard, fires off shots and barks for a mask and a doctor, sneering that the place stinks of fish. He recalls arriving to reclaim what he terms his prized fish-man collection. Hody Jones declares the man deserves death as the foulest kind of human alive.

As several Sun Pirates step forward, Mjosgard spots former captives and orders them back into servitude. One disarms him with a kick, and the crowd raises their weapons. A pirate observes that an Admiral would normally respond to an attack on a Noble, yet with no survivors to file a report the affair could be dismissed as an ordinary wreck. The citizens warm to the plan. The moment the trigger is pulled, Otohime hurls herself over the Noble and suffers only a scratch, begging them to lower their guns since the children are watching, and warning that handing their hatred to the young will only let it spread. Recalling Tiger's words, Jinbe concedes she is right.

Undeterred, Mjosgard grabs the queen as a hostage and sneers that her crown leaves her beneath him all the same. Just as he prepares to kill her, the terror in Shirahoshi calls out and brings a quintet of Sea Kings bursting up from below, leaving everyone, Hody and Vander Decken IX included, aghast.

Decken recognizes Shirahoshi as the fabled Mermaid Princess able to command Sea Kings, the very being his ancestor sought, and resolves to wed her for that power until his crew reminds him she is still a child. Aladine treats both Mjosgard and Otohime. Weeks afterward the recovered yet wholly thankless Noble prepares to depart, and Otohime opts to travel with him to the surface to demonstrate the trip is safe. The anime supplements the chapter with the Sun Pirates' homecoming, citizens grumbling over Jinbe's title, brief flashbacks of enslaved fish-men, and a hostage moment absent from the manga, where Mjosgard had merely lifted his gun.
